    The Nebraska State Board of Landscape Architects is considering revisions to the Professional Landscape Architects Act (Act) to adopt the CLARB Uniform Licensure for Landscape Architects passed by the member boards in 2022.

    The Board is excited to announce the launch of a new database. Renewals went live on November 1, 2023, for licenses expiring December 31, 2023. License application processing is anticipated to be available in the Spring of 2024.

    The Nebraska State Board of Landscape Architects will have a board seat vacancy as of October 31, 2023, due to a resignation.

  • January 11, 2021

    Revisions to the Board's Rules and Regulations (Title 231 NAC) were approved by the Governor and filed with the Secretary of State's office on January 5, 2021. They became effective on January 10, 2021.

  • September 23, 2020

    The State Board of Landscape Architects will be holding a hearing on proposed changes to Title 231 NAC on October 27, 2020, commencing at 8:30am. The hearing will be held at 215 Centennial Mall South (Lincoln Community Foundation Building), in the fifth floor conference room.

    The Board will have a vacancy for a professional landscape architect as of September 23, 2020. Interested persons should complete an Executive Appointment Application at https://governor.nebraska.gov/board-comm-req.

    The Nebraska Legislature passed LB30 on Final Reading on February 6, 2020, with a vote of 48-0-1 and signed by the Governor on February 12, 2020. It will go into effect ninety (90) calendar days after the close of the legislative session.

    The Nebraska State Board of Landscape Architects will have two board seat vacancies as of September of this year. One seat is open to all professional landscape architects licensed and residing in Nebraska.

  • June 7, 2019

    The first session of the 106th Legislature adjourned sine die on May 31st.
