The Board is excited to announce the launch of a new database. Renewals went live on November 1, 2023, for licenses expiring December 31, 2023. License application processing is anticipated to be available in the Spring of 2024. The new database has added features, including but not limited to the ability of the licensee or applicant to update their address and phone numbers, the ability to submit a renewal or application, save your information to complete at a later date, check the status of a license in real-time, and multiple payment options (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and ACH (electronic check)). Note the Board will no longer be accepting paper applications or checks.
Current licensees may now set up their accounts by going to https://licensing.nsbla.nebraska.gov/landing. You will want to bookmark the page for future use.
In setting up your account, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- A unique email address must be used for each account. Companies cannot use the same email address for multiple individuals as the email is the username.
- Current licensees must use the email address on file with the Board when setting up their account. If you do not remember the email address on file, send an email request to our office prior to creating your account. Not doing so will cause issues connecting your information on file with your account, as the email is used as the username.
- Once your account is set up, you can change your email by entering your contact information. The system will ask you to confirm the change, as it will also change your username. You will need to confirm and click Save again to accept the change.
- You will be required to enter your full social security number in compliance with Nebraska Child Support statutes.
- Addresses should follow standard USPS formatting, including using the Zip+4 (i.e., 68509-5165). To look up your address, visit the USPS website.
- Passwords must be at least 8 characters, consisting of an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number (0-9), and a special character (!@#$%^&* only).
